Sorry for the lack of updates!! I have been so busy! Well, I went in for an interview at Target a couple of weeks ago. A week later they called and I got the job! YAY!! My first job, how exciting!?! I really like the job. I get to work with my best friend. Well we work in the same building, but not the same hours or departments. So basically, I never see her. Maybe next week! I have been a cashier this week, the busiest shopping week ever. And next week I work in Food Ave. I got my first paycheck today!! But it is only for one day’s worth of work. 5.5 hours and I got $36.00. It sucks, but next week’s check will be good! Everyone there is pretty nice, some I don’t like, but they aren’t mean. On another note, Thanksgiving was great!! Awesome food!! Yumm, I love Thanksgiving!! December 6th will be fantastic!! The Killers, AFI, Jet, and Ok Go in concert in Atlanta….and me Laura have floor tickets!! I can’t wait. I just hope I don’t work that day! Well, I have to go, but I will try and update soon!
xoxo Brittany

Awesome, congratulations on the job! What are you going to do with what you earn? That’s cool how you work with Laura (it is Laura, right..?). Unfortunately in Australia we don’t get to celebrate Thanksgiving – well we probably could be no one does. Please update after you go to your concert – I love Jet! They’re really unoriginal with their music and some of their riffs sound freakishly similar to other songs but I still like them. Please update soon (if you’re not too busy working or anything).

By the way – I finally got my iPod! My mum gave it to me as a Christmas/Birthday/Working hard from the yearlies gift. I’m really happy, although iTunes is driving me CRAZY.

Hey. Cool, your first job. What are you going to do with the money? You should buy something cool – like a harmonica. They are pretty cool. I also live in Australia, so we didn’t do Thanksgiving, but I saw a turkey recipe on Martha Stewart and we’re making it for christmas! Turkey is yum!
